Daizy Gedeon is an entrepreneur and multi-award-winning journalist and filmmaker whose career spans more than 40 years including working for major media organisations including News Corp, The Times Group, and Channel 4 News in London. Her 2022 documentary, “Enough! Lebanon’s Darkest Hour” has received wide acclaim being selected to screen at more than 55 international film festivals and winning 30 awards and accolades. Daizy is also CEO of GDR MEDIA Group in Australia, a leading marketing and media agency that has operated for more than 45 years, and founder of film production company Dream Creations International. She relocated to Lebanon in 2022 where she established a local media operation, employing seven talented, young Lebanese to produce independent reports on issues impacting the local population and diaspora, as well as regional and international stories and events centred on humanity, truth, and justice. Her commentary and content attract more than 11 million views and nearly one million interactions per month on Instagram to an audience of over 81k, largely based in the USA, Lebanon, UK, Australia and Canada. Her Reel Talk podcast on YouTube has more than 24k subscribers. She sits on several international boards, including the World Humanitarian Drive, Trade4Peace and the Junipers Women’s Rugby League Organisation. She was awarded the British Regal Medal in 2022 for her humanitarian journalistic work and voted one of the 100 Successful Women in Business and 10 Most Influential Women Leaders.

Nadim Haddad is a distinguished Lebanese Canadian entrepreneur and activist with a notable career spanning both the business and social justice sectors. In 1995, he pioneered a successful business on the World Wide Web, which he exited in 1999. Later, he became a trained facilitator with the Pachamama Alliance, conducting lectures on environmental sustainability and the challenges faced by indigenous populations in the U.S. and Canada. He holds an MBA from Loyola Marymount University, where he made history as the first international student elected to the student senate. Further, Nadim established a successful Private Equity career as an early adopter, focusing on renewable energies and green tech since the early 2000s. He served as Senior Advisor for International Relations in the Ministry of Environment of Lebanon, fulfilling his role primarily from Washington D.C., North America. Following the 2019 Lebanese revolution, he founded D.A.R.T., the Diaspora Action Round Table, an initiative designed to foster collaboration, trust, and alignment of goals among Lebanese activist groups in the diaspora, enhancing their collective impact. His ongoing work centers on creating collaborative platforms, amplifying the voices of those affected by Lebanon’s financial challenges, and advocating for environmental and social justice. Today, Nadim is also focused on developing several projects on Eko Atlantic in Lagos, Nigeria, and setting up various investment vehicles to finance them. As the co-founder of Golden Keys Global, Nadim helps clients navigate global residency, wealth diversification, and real estate investment. Roland Kassis is a builder of places, partnerships, and purpose – shaping spaces that invite connection and ventures that drive meaningful change. Born in Lebanon during the early years of the civil war, Roland spent much of his childhood trading one conflict for another, between Beirut and Monrovia, Liberia. His education later took him to France and the United States, where a patchwork of global experiences began shaping a lifelong belief in the power of place, people, and possibility. Roland began his career by founding KassCon, which grew into one of the largest building services companies in the eastern United States. That foundation propelled him into real estate, where he has spent over two decades developing neighborhood-scale projects that combine thoughtful design with cultural and economic revitalization. Roland has led the transformation of Philadelphia’s Fishtown into one of the country’s most vibrant neighborhoods through careful tenant curation, historic restoration, strong partnerships, and a deep commitment to the community. Through the formation of Kassis & Co, Roland has focused on early-stage ventures and creative startups, and has co-founded a number of businesses across multiple industries. Through Peroni Construction, Roland built a company that self-performed over 1 million square feet of build-out. With Defined Hospitality, he has helped launch some of Philadelphia’s best restaurants: Suraya, Pizzeria Beddia, and James Beard-Awarded Kalaya. Roland also started the Archway Hotel Residence, a boutique-extended-stay concept rooted in local hospitality; Briquette Studio, a narrative-driven interior design firm; Brevity Films, a platform for powerful storytelling whose work has been featured at Sundance, Tribeca, and other major international film festivals; and The ‘M’ Movement, a nonprofit initiative that supports startup nonprofits rooted in service with strategic guidance, infrastructure, and capital. Sergio D. Jalil is an accomplished academic, consultant, and entrepreneur with a strong background in international relations, Middle Eastern studies, and the Lebanese diaspora. He is currently the Director of CELIBAL (Centro de Estudios Libaneses para América Latina), the Center for Lebanese Studies in Latin America, a position he has held since 2013. In this role, he promotes research and educational services focused on Lebanon and its diaspora, especially within Latin America. Through CELIBAL, he aims to deepen the understanding of Lebanese culture, history, and the regional geopolitical impact of the Lebanese diaspora. He also is a Vice Chairman of Lebanon and Beyond, a US non-profit organization that provide inmersive experiences in Lebanon to Lebanese descendants from all over the world, combining educational programs, humanitarian activities and integration and socialization experiences with Lebanese of all communities. Mr. Jalil is also a professor at the University of Salamanca’s Master's Program in Global Studies, where he teaches courses on Nationalism and Ethnic Conflicts, International Security, and the History of International Relations in the Middle East. With his expertise in international relations, policy analysis, and diaspora studies, he brings a nuanced perspective to Middle Eastern politics, and specifically the Lebanese diaspora's impact on global affairs. His educational journey includes a Master’s degree in Arab Studies from the prestigious Georgetown University Walsh School of Foreign Service, where he was awarded a merit-based tuition scholarship. Additionally, he completed further coursework in international development, Middle Eastern foreign policy, and Modern Standard Arabic at Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS). He also holds a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations from Universidad Católica de Córdoba, Argentina. Mr. Jalil has a varied and rich professional history, with experience in both the private and public sectors. His earlier career includes roles such as Senior Vice President and Head of the International Business Development Team at Interaudi Bank, where he focused on Latin American Markets where engaged and developed strong relationships with the vast Lebanese community of the region. He also served an advisor in Middle East Policy to the President of Argentina, Carlos Menem, from 1995-1998 and in that capacity organized the first trip of a Latin American President to Lebanon as well as being responsable for welcome PM Rafik Hariri in Argentina. Since the year 2000, He became a shareholder and Board member of companies in the retail of liquified gas for automobiles in Argentina and Brazil, later venturing into Real Estate development in the same markets. In 2015, Mr. Jalil expanded his entrepreneurial endeavors by becoming the CEO of Byblos Palermo Soho in Buenos Aires, Argentina, where he manages real estate development and temporary rentals. He also acts as a private consultant for Business Advisors International Consulting, where he advises clients on Financial matters. Since a very young age, Mr. Jalil has been involved with the Lebanese Diaspora within the WLCU organizing the first international Youth Congress of Lebanese Descendants in Uruguay and subsequent conventions in Dominican Republic, Brazil, México and Lebanon. At age 23, he was the first elected President of the WLCU Youth world council. Through his career and academic work, Sergio D. Jalil has become a recognized expert in Middle Eastern studies, Lebanese diaspora issues, and international relations, with a focus on building bridges between Latin America and the Arab world.
